The rolls are the most labor-intensive item in our eggplant line.
Each roll is a slice of eggplant wrapped around tuna, capers, and sun-dried tomatoes, and secured with a toothpick. One by one, by hand: you can tell by looking at the jar. In sunflower oil with white wine vinegar.
They are served at room temperature: a ready-to-eat appetizer, no cooking required. Two rolls, good bread, a glass of red wine — and the table is set.
